Rider
(Team competition) tests to be
ridden on both Saturday & Sunday.
Individual Competition to be determined from individual results in
the team classes. The top riders
from the A*/A squad at this competition will be invited to compete at the
‘A’ squad Final to be held at the Hartpury CDI.
This year the competition will be on Saturday 18 July with the top
3 riders competing in a ride off at the Gala Evening that evening. Each team to
comprise 4 riders from the region, one each from A (or A*), B & C
squads and one other including fledgling, but not a second A or A* rider.
Team
Competition will be decided on combined points scores (3 scores to count
each day) over the two days. The warm-up
tests on Saturday & Sunday will be the same tests as ridden for the
team competition i.e the squad tests at the appropriate level.
These tests will be judged by ONE judge and judged on rider
competence. Riders may only
compete in the warm-up test appropriate to their squad level. All tests over
the two days will be judged on rider competence and there will be marks
given and NO percentages. Scoring will be
done according to place in the class and not marks e.g. winner of class
– 1 point, 10th place – 10 points etc.
The rider with the lowest score on each day and then on total will
be the winner. PAY:
